4Ah, but LaLaLaurie06, I'm guessing you probably only had *instant* ramen in college. If you liked it then, you owe it to yourself to find a good "real" ramen house...it's like the difference between a good steak vs salisbury...err..."steak"!
5Isn't there a Japanese movie about finding the perfect ramen roadtrip? lol That would be totally fun! I've only had ramen a few places in Japan as well. I definitely to try more! (^-^*) It all sounds so yummy!
6Not sure about a ramen road trip movie, though that'd be great! There's the classic Tampopo http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092048/, thought I highly recommend not watching it when you're hungry!
7I love the Rameniac site. he has an awesome blog talking about Ramen...my favourite type of Japanese food...childhood comfort food all rolled in one.
8yes, i know it's blasphemy, but a hot bowl of Ramen at a hole in the wall somewhere in japan on a cold winter night beats any schmancy fancy sushi / sashimi anyday for me...
