My gal Molly let me in on one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while. Apparently, cult favorite Christopher Walken is looking to host his own cooking show - so much so that he's recorded his own video and put it on the internet. In the amateur video entitled "Man Makes Chickens with Pears," Walken comes across more like someone's grandpa, than someone who would host a cooking show. I'm not sure what to make of the whole thing. I think he's fantastic, but this is a little peculiar. What do you think? Give it a watch and then tell me, would you watch Christopher Walken's cooking show?

Christopher Walken actually scares me a bit, but I bet if he had his own show, it would just be so weird that it would be funny.
I'd watch it for sure. He cracks me up.
abso-f*cking-lutely. I would not only watch it, I would record every episode for the benefit of my future grandchildren.
No. Never.
it was a little boring...but i can see him having a lot of fun with it after a while.
Did anyone else think he wasn't a very good cook? He didn't use any fat (oil/butter) or liquid with that chicken -- I would think it would turn out pretty dry, and the color was rather unappetizing...Anyone think that cat at the end was his "bobcat wife"?
I would deinitely watch it. I love him! I hope he dances!!!
what was that mme sky? I couldn't hear you over the cowbell.
A hot man cooking? I'm there!
The man creeps me out a little, so I'd have to go with no.
i cant imagine it!
Would I watch Christopher Walken in *everything*? Yesssss
I can see him picking up the pepper mill... "Dun, dun a dun, dun, weapon of choice!" as he starts dancing with it.
Buuut, I don't know, it's just weird.
Maybe, with a better script, kitchen, and camera person. Oh and better recipes. But honestly, I'd rather see real chefs cooking up recipes than TV personalities.
No. I'm with verily. This was just too painful to watch all the way through.
i think he is hilarious.. his cooking show would be awkwardly funny and highly entertaining.
heck yes i would watch
Totally, I love Christopher Walken.
I would watch because I like cooking shows. But uhh can we keep the cat off the counter near the food please and wash them hands after touching the chicken before putting them into the pepper container
Too funny. Yes!
But yeah, keep the cat off the counter and wash the hands, please.
It's Christopher Walken! Of course I'd watch it but for entertainment value only because you can't actually learn how to cook from "I stick this thing over this thing and then I put it here."
Did anyone else see him on The Daily Show last week? Jon Stewart asked him about cooking, and he said, "Oh yeah, I love to cook. You'll have to come over some time. I'll cook for you. I'll make you some fish."
Okay, so the transcript isn't that funny, but believe me it was hilarious.
Christopher Walken is a funny guy , he doesn't need to do anything just the way he speak it's funny, so sure I'll watch his new cooking show and laugh and laugh and .....
no way. i'd be thinking that he's be in character the whole time since all his movie characters are the same.
Ya know, Vincent Price was a big foodie, even wrote some cookbooks with his wife.
oh this would be so funny! definitely needs to be sharpened up in a lot of ways. like, how about not dropping the chicken in the kitchen sink? can we say GERMS?
I'd watch him in a heartbeat. But I can't believe how much salt he put on that bird- blech!
Hell yes. He is amazing.
I think Christopher Walken could possibly spice it up much more and make a great cooking show (Comedy Central needs a cooking show!). I loved how the cat gravitated toward the chicken laying on the counter!
Will have to try the recipe as well!
YES YES YES YES YES! I would definitely watch this. I adore Christopher Walken!
chicken has a lot of fat already in the skin, if you leave in the skin it'll still be moist. i've read several people have already made this dish and they said their chicken turned out moist. so it just goes to show even the simplest dish is delicious and even celebrities gotta eat!!
but i'm going still have to say that the dish needs more cowbell!!!
No he scares me. But thanks anyway.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE him...I would tune in just to hear his voice. He is hysterical and I had no idea he could cook. Love the idea whether it works or not. I think even my husband would watch.
Hahahahaha.....he's so awesome!
I'm scared to look at Christopher Waken for small blocks of time so a cooking show would not get it done for me.
I liked CW's bedhead, his teeny but adequate kitchen his deftness with a knife. His cooking savvy seems genuine (not rehearsed minutes earlier) And then: I can not lay eyes on him without cracking up. An actors actor that captures his audience seemingly effortlessly.
I'd watch his cooking show if it was on opposite the Superbowl.
