The first thing I ate at The French Laundry was a delectable cornet. If you want to try and make it at home, here's the recipe. Oh and can I just say, this one is possibly even more beautiful than the one I ate while there. - Chubby Hubby

Food is one of my favorite subjects. My comment for all of you is to treat your food well. Don't overcook it or buy it in a convenience store or eat fried food. It just wasn't meant to be. Hence the thousands of diseases out there. They are avoidable.
1Sorry to disagree a bit, but sometimes there's no substitute for a good piece of lovingly made Southern fried chicken, a fried catfish dinner or a crunchy french fry. And some "convenient" food is tasty and healthy these days. It's about making measured choices and treating yourself once in a while. I'm just not going to live an acetic, monkish lifestyle.
