does anyone remember the episode of grey's anatomy with the woman who was in eating contests for a living and ended up really injuring her body?? oh yuck.

My siblings and I used to have contests all the time when we were little, and still do when we all are at Mom and Dad's. We usually split up side dishes at the end of the meal and see who can finish first (things like mandarin oranges, green beans, carrots). It's fun once in awhile, but I couldn't do it professionally!

I know I waste food somewhat so I feel a bit hypocritical saying this ... but I think of all the people who are starving when I see this sort of thing and just really feel it's a major waste.

i haven't seen this video yet but i totally kicked a$$ in 5th grade when i came in at second place in an ice-cream eating contest! i'm lucky to have a great metabolism... lol don't think i can do it anymore~

I'd totally do it, but only if it were food that I eat: like vegetables or meats(fish).
I can eat ANYONE under the table when it comes to those 2 food groups: NO JOKE!
