As it turns out, those purported rumors of Jennifer Aniston hoping to open a restaurant are actually true.
On The Tonight Show, the star of the new movie Love Happens confirmed that she does, in fact, want to be a restaurateur. Aniston told talk show host Conan O'Brien:
I've always wanted to open a restaurant. My dad had a restaurant in New York City, called The Fives, in the days of yore. And that always was fun . . . New York needs a great Mexican restaurant . . . I love Mexican food! And usually, a really great night is had in a Mexican restaurant, no?
The movie star, who was a waitress "for a good couple years" before her acting career took off, even said she'd be up for a guest-server stint. To see her talk about the hopeful venture further, keep reading.

I loathe her, but she's right. There are no good mexican restaurants in NYC
1there are, but they're just not in Manhattan (or if they are, they're in Harlem)
2there actually are a lot of GREAT mexican restaurants here in the city - just because she doesn't know them or go to them doesn't mean that she should say they don't exist.
anyway, i guess if she gets the right ppl to actually be IN the place then there could be potential there. it just baffles me when celebs who have no foodie backgrounds want to get involved in the industry.
3A couple? Clearly she hasn't had Mexican food in NY. I don't think NY needs any more Mexican places, especially ones run by celebrities. I'm happy enough getting my michelada from Mercadito, or getting the chile pablano and creamed mushroom soup from Rosa Mexicano.
and Great Burrito on the Upper West Side is AWESOME!
4I love that fact she used the word "yore".
5makes sense, every time I look at her I get diarrhea.
