What if I told you that you could make the perfect French fries with only a spoonful of any oil? You'd probably tell me that I was crazy and that I should stop dreaming. Well, it's time to wake up, because the folks at Tefal have actually come up with a device that allows you to do just that. The ActiFry will allow you to prepare genuine fries with just one spoonful of oil! The patented technology circulates hot air around the fries, while the mixing paddle disperses the oil. The technique results in fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Personally I think it sounds too good to be true, but you know I'd give it a try. Well maybe if it wasn't for the $300 price tag...
What do you think? Would you give it a try?

I'd give it a try if someone gave me one or if I could rent one for the day or something. But for that price tag? No way!
i think it sounds wonderful! i love that people are developing new technology that allows me to eat the food i love without compromising my health.
this sounds so great! i love french fries..but they're so high in calories..i want this lol
FRIES!!! Yummy. If only I could afford or had the counter space for this. I'd make 'em every single day.
I'd love this! But is is so pricey...
coool I would def try it out but its over the top price will probably prevent me from doing so. lol
i agree that this would be so cool - but yeah...high price to pay for this!
I love fries, so I'd spend that kind of money on it!
I would LOVE one of those.
kinda like a popcorn popper?? interesting....and i bet you could sprinkle flavor over pretty easily and have it mix in.
that IS really expensive. I love french fries, and I love the waffle ore-ida brand. Pop 'em in the oven!
If someone has tried this, and can vouch that it's super fantastic, I will buy it, no joke.
I've got to have that!!!
that is great!
That's awesome but too expensive!
Got any discount?
why eat fries in the first place, it's too much carbs anyway, regardless of the fat
Oh no, no, no. I don't eat fries very often, but when I do, I make them myself (SO much better!) and I want them to actually be FRIED. Besides, it looks really hard to clean. I can imagine it being all greasy and icky after using it just once.
And I just want to add: the French didn't invent the fries, the French-speaking Belgians did.
omg i must have this! yum you rock!
i wonder if i could use olive oil!
oh oh and you know i would have to try: sweet potatoe fries!
so this would be a bit healthier? sounds good.
and yes, sweet potatoe fries ROCK!
Sounds healthier than normal fries, but still I try to stay away from potatoes altogether
And I agree with most of you, it is pricey but would be cool to try at least once
I would definitely!! I will not buy a real deep fryer because I would just balloon up!! LOL!!
wow i want one... $300.00 ... anyone want to buy me one
still that one spoonful is still alot of calories, fat. I Bake my fries now, its takes longer but they are all nice and browned and crispy ...

THIS NEEDS TO BE A SUGAR GIVE AWAY! work on that team sugar and yum sugar!!! it would be perfect!!
Wow good to know!
omg this is amazing!!! i love friess
Dear Lord. Once I graduate and save up enough money I will buy this even if it is $300 but hopefully by then the price will be lower. But this is totally worth it. I love fries and if that means I can eat them more often with less fat then this is the first thing that will go into my new kitchen!
