This set of four cocktail party plates are really quite clever. They're divided so that dips and bites don't mingle until you want them to and they have a notch that will allow you to balance a wine glass. There are actually quite a few trays like this out there right now, but I love the modern look of these. What do you think of them?

I don't find it very attractive, but it is very practical for parties. I like that it has separate sections so that stuff doesn't all run together.
I like the look of it and that it has separate sections, but I think it would drive me nuts that I couldn't put the plate down!
I think this is a clever idea, but something about it doesn't strike me the right way. Maybe it is the notch for the glass? Regardless, I still think they are neat.
not sure... it looks like something from the 60's that was supposed to be futuristic... I'm undecided!
LOVE the idea of these....but not sure how practical they actually are...
They are tacky!
we had wooden ones on our wedding registry & love them! You can put them down - it just involves two hands.
yeah-- the wooden ones are great.
I agree with everyone in that I think these things are ugly. But I am a huge klutz (spilling red wine on white carpet -- that's me), so it makes it a lot easier for me to juggle food and wine at the same time. These things are absolutely indispensable for parties!
uhm those are actually really great? i attend lots of events and parties for work and i would LOVE it if people used these plates for the buffet instead of making us awkwardly stand around with plate in one hand, glass in the other, and no table to set anything down!
I hate the wine holder part. It just seems so cheesy!
Reminds me too much of those sectioned styrofoam plates. Or kiddy plates. I'd go with something more traditional. There's a trick to balancing a plate and a glass of wine in your left hand that works at cocktail parties and networking events (since your right hand should be kept free for shaking hands).
I love it!
I love the concept. I think the design needs more work so it doesn't look so tacky. I hate having to hold my glass and eat appetizers at the same time. There isn't always a place to set my glass.
Funny! I like that everything you carry with one hand..
These are a little plain but I've seen some that are quite elegant for tapas
total convenience
Love the notch! I was at a party this last weekend and practically spilled wine down my front, so this would be awesome to get.
doesnt look very classy, kinda like a tv dinner tray for a drunk
reminds me of the tray lunches in high school! haha
Um no thanks, are we becoming that lazy that we have to have one thing carry everything? Sheesh.
For Function...great. I think it could look a little better.
I like it.
its always hard to decide if i want to snack on something or drink something, since it is usually so hard to do both - this would solve that problem though!
That's too reminiscent of the translucent pink compartmentalized plastic plates I had as a kid for me to handle. Oh dear.
Now if they'll just make one that holds regular ol' plastic cups, I'll buy a gross.
I didn't hate it until I saw the wine glass holder. Cheesy!
That my friends is an accident waiting to happen.
I love it. I'm thinking it'd be perfect for any schmooze-fest so you don't have to worry about balancing a plate and a glass in one hand while shaking with the other.
I agree w/ Kimbit. Not to hot to look at but its a great idea. especially since I'm famous for dropping food. Oops.
Great idea, it doesn't look that bad. I actually saw something like that at Target the other day.
