I was browsing the YumSugar Community — brides to be: did you know there is an entire group devoted to Wedding Talk? — when I stumbled across these adorable cupcakes. Reader and foodie Kbussanich says that her boyfriend surprised her with the proposal and cupcakes!
The cakes were created by the Flour & Sun Bakery in Pleasantville, NY, and were a mix of chocolate and vanilla cake with vanilla icing that was dyed bright blue.
When she heard Kbussanich's answer was yes, the bakery's owner sent over an engagement gift of seasonal (pumpkin and apple with cream cheese frosting) cupcakes. While I'm not a fan of public proposals, the idea of cupcakes at home is incredibly sweet. What do you think? Would you say yes to a cupcake proposal?

Who could say no to cupcakes?
1exatly, Pistil!! especially since I'm such a dessert lover, I'd be completely open to a sweet proposal (pun intended) !
2Yes, I would.
3I totally would. If he thought of this creative way and baked (mainly this) how could I say no.
4I would say yes to a proposal written on a banana in a dumpster. I would say yes to a proposal anywhere, at anytime, written on whatever. I would certainly say yes to a proposal on cupcakes, yet, not eat them, since truly, baked goods tend to gross me out.
5I love cupcakes! So heck ya!
6Hmm... part of me says heck yes. and the other part, says I wouldn't trade the way my fiance proposed for any other way
I would eat the cupcake tho.
7Glad you all liked my idea!
8this is so unique and fun. yes, yes, yes!
9I did say yes! And they were delicious.

18I would say 'yes' and 'i love you for being so creative and thoughtful'
19hmm i'd be more delighted to say yes if he's the one who baked the cupcakes.
20I loved this story! My husband proposed with a bottle of champagne & a chocolate cake from our hometown bakery decorated with flowers and "Will You Marry Me?" in icing. Of course I said yes, it was a sweet and original proposal and I love our engagement story! Congrats to the happy cupcake couple!
21Not really into proposals involving food, but I'm sure this works for them. Congrats.
22I definitely would say yes, but I like the was my husband proposed too. But really, any proposal would be improved by cupcakes. Congratulations to the happy couple!
23Of course.

25Veru cute idea!
26Maybe if I just graduated from college, but at a certain point, it seems a little immature.
27I love cupcakes; this was such a romantic idea. Food proposals are never immature (from an older person).
Congratulations Kbussanich and fiance!
