Chicken pot pie is my favorite! The Québec version of a Shepherd's pie is a close second though - ground beef + creamed corn + mashed potatoes (to be eaten with a lot of ketchup).

7Pot pies have always weirded me out. I really want to try shepherd's pie, it looks delicious.
8I liked homemade pot pies, but the gluten-free versions (homemade or store bought) suck.

10Both are good, but I prefer pot pie the PA Dutch way with dough noodles instead of a crust.
11I don't eat lamb/sheep so shepherd's pie is out for me. I don't eat pot pie either though...I just don't really care much for savory pies, I guess.
12Shephard's pie, but damn, this is one difficult toss up. While I like sweet pies, I'm never able to pass up a good savoury pie.
While it may not follow the shephard's pie recipe to the letter, I love the mash up of having a pastry bottom with the shephard pie top.

14Shepherd's pie! But mainly because I LOVE mashed potatoes. The insides are basically the same - meat, veggies, gravy.
