As soon as I saw these new snacks, I immediately notified all of my French Fry loving pals. After all, if they love french fries in ketchup, then surely they're going to love "Ketchup & French Fries" flavored potato snacks, right?
Junk food makers Inventure Group have partnered with fast food royalty Burger King by creating a new line of "flavored potato snacks." These snacks will be for sale in grocery stores vending machines, and eventually Burger King itself. Available in two flavors — fry-shaped Ketchup & Fries and chip-shaped Flame Broiled Burger — they will initially be offered in single-serving sizes (1-3 ounces) and later in 20 ounce bags.
There's something hypnotic about Burger King fries — I think I may just have to hunt these down to find out if they have the same appeal. Has anyone seen them around and if so, what do you think? Do they really taste like a flame broiled burger or ketchup & fries?

They look interesting, and even though I have a feeling I wouldn't like them, I'd still try them if I ever saw them. Somebody must have tried these!
Hmmm I don't know about these. I think they'd either be addicting or absolutely disgusting!
Hmm.. innnteresting.. Eating them couldn't possibly feel the same as eating real french fries, but I wonder how they taste?
oh disgusting, i hate french fries.
french fries are my vice... but i think id rather the real thing
I don't think I could deal with an "all-crunchy" texture. I truly savor that crispy on the outside, soft on the inside goodness of a fry!
Whoa. Not gonna try this. Ever.
Will they taste just like Ketchup flavoured chips, but a different shape?
Ick-no.
that actually sounds really gross.
Haven't seen them, but I don't do ketchup, so that's out. But if they made them plain or with other sauces!
I've actually had something similar a few years ago, I think in Canada. They're good!
I can't say I'd eat it, but my 5 year old would
I can't stand Burger King anything! I went to a dirty one in NYC once and I've been scarred ever since! Hehe.
there are already ketchup potato chips!! i remember in my freshman year i ordered a huge box for me and all my friends since one of my friends recommended it, and it was SENSATIONAL! DELICIOUS with that little bit of sweetness from the ketchup...i could eat a whole box but anyways, i forgot the brand...i think it was canadian but Herr's has them. delicious
I totally want to try the ketchup fries ones..... Yes I know they are possibly like regular ketchup chips - but they could also be even better.... and wouldnt it be worth the couple dollars to find out????
Oh yuck ... that sounds so totally disgusting.
haha I forgot that most states don't have ketchup chips!!! my american classmates were freaked out by the weird chip flavours we have. Anyways, I can't believe anyone would want to eat a hamburger flavoured potato chip...
Hamburger chips do sound nasty. And frankly, in the fry department, McDonald's has better. =p
I swear in the 90s they had a snack just like this. Has anyone ever had Pik-Nik Shoestring Potato Snacks. Those are still around but in the 90s they had a ketchup flavor. I loved 'em. Also, in Canada lots of potato chips like Pringles, Lays and Doritos have ketchup flavors.
I am from Canada & love ketchup chips! We also have dill pickle! So good!
sure, i'd try it.but not the burger ones.
I'm not to sure I'd try this
What???? you guys are just getting ketchup flavour potatos now?????? WTF!
orangejeans, i think i know what you're talking about! i do remember there being chips called Shoestring something-or-other.
it's true - i always forget that the concept of ketchup-flavoured chips doesn't really exist outside of canada, so when i first saw this headline, i was like - how inventive can fries-with-ketchup flavoured chips be?
mlleanie- I love dill pickle chips! Lays used to have them, but I can't find them anymore. They tastes good in between 2 slices of bread. A pickle chip sandwhich
Does anybody remember the pizza flavored potatoe chip craze?
I am most definetly letting me friend know. She loves to eat anything with ketchup.
