I voted for thick, but I love them both.

I don't eat fries much, but when I do eat them I like the thick-cut steak fries better.

GlowingMoon, I don't think you're weird. Fries have never been a weakness of mine either. I'm actually not a fan of potatoes in general and strips of potato submerged in a basket of liquid fat just isn't that appealing to me. And they taste greasy, make my mouth feel weird and sit like a rock in my stomach. I could (and occasionally do) go to town on chocolate, cheesecake, and cheese, but am happy that I seem to lack the hot chip gene, at least!

honestly? I love both. Thick ones if they are crisp outside and "mushy" inside! Shoe string if they are still very hot and crispy.

I think I love all fries. I guess I prefer thick but skinny fries like at McDonalds still taste great. The skinny fries in that picture though are a bit too skinny for me.

Thick fries are perfect for dipping and go great with a fish and chips dinner. However, as long as they are crispy, either one is awesome

I like fries any way at all! And the best fast-food fries, in my opinion, have to be from Checkers - crispy and so well seasoned/spiced! Yumyum, wish we had one here ..
