My latest cocktail experiment left me wondering how you felt about creepy Halloween cocktails. I settled on the eyeball highball because it seemed to be the right amount of unsettling without appearing over-the-top gruesome. I love a little eeriness, although I think certain drinks, like bloody brain shooters, border on repulsive. How do you feel about these tipples?

Question: How does this shot taste??
I'm extremely curious, it looks like it plays more to the show-y part of a shot rather than flavor. Lime and Bailey's? Could have some scary after-effects too.
1That looks so creepy! I like it, but I think I would opt for one of the more appetizing Halloween cocktails listed. With a little grenadine, you can make any drink Halloween-y.
2aphill4, I bet it tastes really, really sweet.
3I fall somewhere in the middle. Too gruesome, and I can't drink it. But I can appreciate a little bit of eeriness.
I've seen those made entirely differently, actually - they're usually made with peach schnapps which tastes pretty good. The flavors go together a lot better then it would with lime, I think! It gets a very creamy, fruity flavor with the peach and sweet grenadine in it.
I'm not big on shots anyway (too much of a lightweight!) but these are fairly tasty. I'd much rather a zombie cocktail ;]
4Oh, and when I got all the way through the slideshow I realized that they have the peach schnapps variation of a brain bleed (which is what we've always called them) on the list too!
5looking at them make me want to vomit
6Not for me...they look really gross. I'd rather stick with the drinks I know that I like.
7Nastay! But I'd drink one.
