The Top Chef news of the week came early yesterday morning when we learned that Bravo was sweetening its line of spinoffs with a 2010 show called Top Chef: Just Desserts.
Since the whole Top Chef franchise is starting to tire out for at least a few of us, I thought I'd get everybody pumped for the new show (and National Dessert Month!) by testing your knowledge of classic desserts from around the world.
I'll spit out a picture, and you tell me what dessert it depicts. Ready? Go!

5Not sure about that picture of sticky toffee pudding. That's my husband's favourite dessert, so one I'm quite familiar with and I've never seen one with bits of white stuff in the top.

I guessed on that one and the cherries jubilee - I've never seen cherries jubilee served with ice cream on top of it!

8Take exception to the semifreddo photo, which, when "half-frozen" shouldn't hold its shape as solid wedges.

16AW!! I missed the cherries one. to me cherries jublilee is a sauce over ice cream and the photo did not look like it so I went with clafuti. The photo looked like neither really.
