Remember the dog ice cream I told you guys about a little while back? Well if you're holding out because Fido doesn't want the extra calories, or if he wants to participate in the frozen yogurt revival, then be sure to check out Yöghund. Developed by The Barking Dog Ltd., Yöghund is a frozen treat made from organic yogurt, bananas, peanuts and spring water. It's currently only available in a few markets, but you can also purchase a pack of four containers online for $5.99.

how about I just give my dog the tiny FREE ice cream cone i get when i hit up the local ice cream parlor? lol
1My dog LOVES Frosty Paws in the summer time. I'll give him one after we get home from the dog park. I've seen Yoghund in the stores, but I haven't yet had my dog try them. Many dogs are lactose intolerant so you really shouldn't give them ice cream (not to mention all of the sugar and stuff). That said, I still always let my dog lick the bowl.
2I always give my dog a Frosty Paws ice cream as a special treat after she's had a warm bath. She LOVES it.
3I have to be honest here. I am sorry if this makes anyone mad...but ice cream for dogs is ridiculous. I would feel the same way about cats.
4Well everyone has their own opinion on how to treat animals, cravin sugar, but when it's over 100 with no AC and your dog is watching you eat a popcicle, it makes you re-consider. I've given my dog both frosty paws and this new brand Yoghund. The Yoghund is better for them, because it has less chemicals and such and it's actually not bad (I tasted it). It just tasted like it needs sugar, but my pup LOVED it. It's a great treat for them on a hot day, but just like for humans it's a treat, not something I give him all the time.
5Of course some people will think it's ridculous, but I love my dog Very much and enjoy giving him special things like this. It's a small price for the love and happiness he brings me.
my dog loves this and I love my dog
6just for the record, when i had a dog, I loved her very much, and haven't had the heart to get another. We bought her doggie treats, and I just think i draw the line at doggie ice cream.
7My dog would love this!!!
8that dog is so cute!
9How is dog ice cream any different from dog cookies? The cost might be a little more but when I'm overheated, I can't imagine how my dog feels, she has a fur coat all the time
