Considering that everyone — Sugar included! — is getting caught up in the hype surrounding the Twilight series, it comes as no surprise that one couple, Annette and Tim Root of Forks, WA, have decided to launch a Twilight-themed restaurant in the town where the books are set.
Although the family-style eatery will be named Volterra, after the Italian city where the Volturi law-enforcing vampires live, the cuisine won't be Italian. Instead it will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a focus on steak and seafood. The couple hopes to debut their themed restaurant, complete with bar area, early next Spring.
Since I enjoyed the first two books and found the movie hysterically entertaining, I think the idea of a restaurant sounds fun. How about you? Would you be interested in eating at a Twilight establishment?

That will be a welcomed addition to Forks, if you've been there. Though several of the restaurants already have Twilight themed dishes. Forks is a great and friendly town, though, that has really embraced the Twilight excitement!!!

9I really liked the books, they're entertaining. But even I am sick of the themed crap, the clothing and dolls and even sex toys (posted by one of the sugar sites). It makes me feel creepy for reading the series, I don't want to be associated with the people that truly have difficulty separating their own lives from a popular string of books and movies.

11this is a great idea because if the food is good, locals will go there just to eat, and as a tourist attraction tons of people will travel to visit it
i mean good from a marketing sense...i wouldn't care to go there unless they had great food
12I hate Twilight. I'm so sick of hearing about it. It's a TERRIBLE BOOK, people. Terrible. I just wanted to slap that stupid Bella for being such an awful, awful, wimpy heroine. Guh. Twilight fever is just ridiculous. Can we find something else to hyperventilate about, already?
