Since I was pretty much going to eat nothing but ribs, I packed fruit and vegetable snacks for the trip there. My lunch? A whole-grain vegetarian sandwich and a peach, so I was prepared to stomach nothing but protein after that. I packed carrots and other veggies for the ride back.
