My grandmother used to have piles and piles, and I would always read them and photocopy what I l liked and keep it in a binder. When I subscribed, I kept the ones that had things I actually
wanted to make, otherwise I would chuck them because they would take over my home.
Not only do I save them, but every few months I go through all of them and cut out the recipes I like. Then I take the recipes and put them into photo albums (the kind with the sticky sheets
covered in clear plastic) and sort them into groups, i.e. appetizers, vegetarian, desserts etc. I have already filled two of these!
I have piles of old food magazines that I have kept and still go back to. After publications like Williams-Sonoma's Taste and (the beloved) Gourmet magazines ceased publication I am glad I
kept them all
I save my Bon Appetit for 1 whole year in an archive magazine box on the book shelf - and then in January of the next year, I go through them again and decide which ones I want to save into
the next year and which ones (that I've never used) get tossed out. Works great!!

1I'm sure we have a secret stash growing somewhere.

3I flag the recipes I want to make and keep them with my cookbooks. I'm getting WAY too many though, so I had to stop subscribing!

5Yes -- so unfortunately, my house looks like a periodicals library!
6I keep all my Bon Appetit and Everyday Food mags as handy recipe guides. They come in really handy sometimes.
