Hershey's has just released a new seasonal kiss flavor: Candy Corn. I saw some in the Halloween display at Target and picked them up for the office to try.
The first thing I noticed was the smell: an overpowering in your face butterscotch-caramel odor, or as YumJimmy put it, "it smells like old people candy." The smell should have been a hint, the candy is as overpowering as its odor. It's like an overly sweet white chocolate laced with butterscotch, heavy on the butter. I personally found them to be adorable, but way too sweet.
All of this candy corn coloring got me wondering about candy corn in general. So I looked up a few things and put it all together in a fun quiz! Think you know candy corn?

20they have christmas "candy corn" here in canada. its shaped like santa clauses, snowmen, ect and are red, green and white. Exact same stuff as candy corn just different shapes. Yummy!
21I also got some weird halloween mix that had a maple flavoured candy corn and chocolate flavoured candy corn.

27Did you guys know if you mix together candy corn and peanuts in a bowl, and eat a little handful, it tastes exactly like a PayDay candy bar? That is why we call it PayDay Mix!

29i bought a bag of the pumpkins the other day and so i wouldn't jack up my diet and separated them in ziploc bags to make 100 calorie pumpkin packs! i'm a nerd.
but hey ya gotta have treats sometime, might as well not ruin the diet in the process!
