Gordon Ramsay's second Fox reality show, Kitchen Nightmares, premieres tonight and I want to know if will you be watching. I caught a sneak preview of a couple of the episodes, including the hour long show that airs tonight at 9 pm. Surprisingly, a new gentler side of Ramsay is highlighted, one that is a nice change from the Hell's Kitchen tyrant who yells expletives every three seconds.
In Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay isn't the nightmare. This time it's the arrogant, lazy, and ignorant restaurant owners, managers, and chefs. Similar to Ty Pennington in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Ramsay comes across as heroic — he saves the burnt out sister from breakdown, gives the tired cook a new set of stoves, and boosts the self esteem of a son scorned by his father, all while recreating the look and menu of the restaurants.
Why Ramsay would want to go into these hellish, uncomfortable, awkward conditions is beyond me, but it does make for entertaining television. With that said, what do you guys think, will you be watching?

as long as I remmeber, then YES
1the DH says we will be watching. Along with Gossip Girl, they are the only 2 new shows I am picking up.
2I love BBC America's show Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. I can only hope the American version is just as good! Gordon Ramsay can really do no wrong in my eyes though! (Except for when he burns his privates while cooking!)
3We have too many new shows to watch, we don't have time for another. But I'd like to watch it.
4i love the uk version of this-he really does want to help people-just wish they would listen sometimes x
5I watch the BBC version so I'll watch the US version as well. I hope it's as good.
6i will! i will! love him!
7Didn't there used to be a show on food network like this? i think it was called restaurant makeover? usually the owners ended up hating everything the designers did...i think it only got one season...
8Already set the reminders on my tv!
9Absolutely--this show is fascinating. Ramsay really tackles sad-assed projects, too, where the viewer thinks there is NO WAY the restaurant can turn around. And sometimes it does not--at his later check-in, Ramsay is sometimes disappointed to find that his fixes & suggestions were forgotten along the way...
10Hell's yea! Right after ANTM!
11Like Gordon Ramsay so will definitely check this out. I hope I can be engaged with this longer than when I watch Hell's Kitchen.
12Watched a few snippets tonight, b/c I loved the version on BBC. Tonight's had ALOT more drama, with the big guy trying to beat up everyone. I like the premise of this show (BBC style). It's disappointing how much more dramatic it has gotten for the American viewing audience.
13No thanks.
14OMG, Last night eppy was so funny! I was having a great time watching.
I'm surprised he
stayed there.
15I wish I would have kept track of how many times ramsey said "f*ck me"!!!
