All of the above. We have the lunches, the occasional ice cream, a pizza once in awhile (but it's usually consumed quickly), and stir fry mixes and stuff.
I use some frozen foods, like garlic strips, fries, a very occassional dinner, I just don't try and make a habit out of it.
I bought and ate a complete frozen dinner recently, and for what it was, it wasn't that bad. That is until I got looking at the box, and noticed it was a 1000 calories and I think my brain
blocked out the fat content registering with me, I just know it was way high!
Oh I get Lean Cuisines a lot those are great for lunch at work because I am too busy/lazy to pack a lunch! Also, fruit, veggies (usually the out of season type but brocolli, spinach, all the
time) And I love CPK pizza's too! Shrimp, Crab, and love the seafood soups by Phillips!
I have an extra chest freezer in my basement and it's filled with seafood, meat, and fish. I'm always buying stuff on sale and freezing it. I just can't pass up jumbo shrimp at $5/lb!! (I
probably have 8 pounds of shrimp tucked away!)
The other white meat, a side of pork... when you go to the buthcer and buy such a large quantity, it is less than $2.00 a pound! We also have lean cuisne, healthy choice and lean budget
gourmet meals, ice cream, turkey burgers, chicken breast and frozen veggies.
I don't use any frozen foods. I used to buy the occasional ice cream, but since I bought an ice cream maker, I don't even need buy that any more! I try to eat local and fresh to stay healthy.
Of course, it helps that I love to cook and bake.
I am very careful about what frozen food I eat. The sodium in most of it is SCARY!!!! I never really thought about it til I met my husband. He's a personal trainer...so my diet has changed a
lot in the last year and a half...lol... I do eat frozen veggies and ice cream (on occasion.)
just ice cream and Cassava/Taro Root- it is poisonous if you don't take the skin off and it is sometimes hard to find fresh, so frozen in little bags is the way to go! my roommate sometimes
has some frozen vegan indian wraps but i don't like them.
