With the cold weather narrowing in on us, I can't help but crave comforting, slow cooked soups, stews, and sauces. In order to make the most delicious dishes, I've decided to invest in a new Dutch oven that will last the rest of my life. A Dutch oven is a large pot with a tight fitting lid. No steam escapes when closed, making it the ideal cooking vessel for braising and stewing. Let's head off to market in search of a beautiful Dutch oven. Look for durable, long lasting pots in fun colors or designs. Bookmark your finds in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the tag Dutch Oven. Happy hunting!

YAY! I love dutch ovens! The kind you cook with anyway.
1i have that same one you posted a picture of! size and color!
i love it but you can't really leave the bottom dry or else things will just burn to it, other than that it's great for braising, roawsting, stewing, boiling...and all that other good 'wet' cooking
OOOOH! i bought it just to make my no knead bread, it's like the perfect size for high boules
