i love it but you can't really leave the bottom dry or else things will just burn to it, other than that it's great for braising, roawsting, stewing, boiling...and all that other good 'wet' cooking

5hey if you're looking for a great priced dutch oven line. try mario batali's, it's just as great and like 1/3 of the cost! trust me.
