3/5 and actual nerd fact: With the new generation of Japanese it's no longer the custom to slurp in public places. While it's still practiced by the older generation, the younger Gen. finds it quite rude.

I'm pretty sure that's an urban legend (or just not true ). In German, Nudel simply means "noodle" and can refer to noodles both with and without eggs.

Holy Cow!!! I don't know noodles or pasta at all!!!!! So tell me, if it's noodle day then we can't eat pasta right? They're not the same thing!!!!!
