A few years ago, London's Octave Restaurant and Jazz Bar came up with a fancy new drink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The drink, aptly called The Pink Ribbon, is a blend of pomegranate and rose petal vodka; 50p ($1) of each cocktail went to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. However, since London is quite far for most, I've analyzed their ingredients and have created a similar recipe for you to try at home! This looks like one elegant drink.
This looks tasty!
Pomegranate juice is so popular these days!
i will definitely hit the Octave to try this drink when i go to london next year. Yummy!
Mmm. Where would I find rose petal vodka, I wonder?
Oh my gosh! I love pomegranate! The grocery stores here do fresh pomegranate juice.....it's so lovely. They also combine with beet juice. Rose petal vodka will be a tough one to buy here so I'll go with the regular stuff.
i'm gonna try this at home!
Ladies you can purchase rose petal vodka here. It's kind of pricey, you could try using regular vodka with some rose water or what I might do is try another flavored vodka like berry or pomegranate. Good luck!
