On October 11, 1919, the first airline meals were served in a flight from London to Paris. To commemorate the date, I've put together a little quiz about inflight meals. Take it now and find out how much you know about airplane food!

they serve food on planes now? =)
(guess that's why i went 2 for 5 on this one...)
1This was a hard quiz. I hate airplane food.
2so apparently I know nothing in that quiz about airline food. But what I do know is that a) it's usually unappetizing and b) now they want you to pay a million dollars more to eat peanuts.
33/5....pretty good seeing I thought I would get NONE!
4I didn't do so hot...
52/5
6haha 1/5!!!!!
7Didn't do as bad as I thought I would.
83/5-better then I thought...
9probably did so poorly because I fly low budget style and bring my meals with me. Hummus and cut bell peppers and salami work well for me on long flights.
10meals used to be free in the plane. now you have to pay for your meals
and they are gross too
11Wow, 1/5! I don't really eat airplane food, so maybe that's why.
12Wow, that's really interesting that each pilot eats a totally different meal--would never have guessed that. But it definitely makes sense--wouldn't want all the pilots to have to mad dash it to the bathroom at the same time due to some questionable chicken! On the subject of airline meals, http://www.airlinemeals.net/ is a site that's completely dedicated to all things culinary in the air. They have thousands of pictures of airline meals (taken by passengers) in their database. Kinda interesting...
13OMG 1/5...how awful!
14wohooo 4/5! haha I'm good at guessing!
15That was really difficult
163/5 oh well
17Airplane food.. is so much better on European airlines.
