With the cold weather narrowing in, I'm starting to crave comforting, slow cooked soups, stews, and sauces. In order to make delicious dishes, I've decided to invest in a new Dutch oven — a large pot with a tight fitting lid — that I can use for the rest of my life. No steam escapes when it's closed, making it the ideal cooking vessel for braising and stewing.
I asked you to help by searching for beautiful Dutch ovens that are durable, long lasting and in colors or designs. You bookmarked the pots in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag Dutch Oven.
Following some of your recommendations, I'm planning on investing in a set of Le Creuset Dutch ovens. They're expensive but suit all heat sources, are dishwasher safe, and come with a lifetime guarantee. Twinkle found these ovens in a gorgeous Caribbean blue color that I won't get sick of over time. Nice one Twink! Take a look at all of the ovens bookmarked by browsing below.

I picked up the cast iron 5.5 qt dutch oven by Martha Stewart at Macy's a couple weeks ago. It is a gorgeous robin's egg blue color and seems just as nice and heavy as my Le Creuset. I used it 3 times already and it was fab. It cooked evenly and cleaned up easily.
1I got it half off so it was only $50.00. Works for me. I will buy all Le Creuset when I am rich.
I want a set of Le Creuset
Ive been eying that same blue color. One day one day Ill
have a set
2Ooh, that set is really nice.
3If you look around you can find some deals on Le Creuset. I bought several of my pieces at their outlet.
4That's one of the ones I found too. Glad you liked it.
5mario batali! cheaper and same quality!!! buy his first and then invest in whatever le creuset you couldn't get in his sizes
6my mom has an ancient bright orange le creuset one. i used to think it was awful looking but now i would totally 'borrow' it.
7I'm being sooooo 12 and giggling at "Dutch oven".
*titter*
8Le Creuset is the best. I love the fact that they even make tiny individual dutch ovens for baking crisps in and that sort of thing.
9I want one!!
10does anyone know what I could cook in the tiny tiny Le Creuset? It's the 2.5 inch one... my roommate got it for me as a gift because I love cooking and she is expecting something cute and delicious to be made in it now. haha
