How much would something like that cost? I like that idea!
1That is beyond awesome! Wow!
2My aunt does something really neat...she takes her recipe cards and puts them into those small photo albums (4x6 or 5x7). That way, she just flips through and finds what she wants
3What a fabulous idea!
kerneschick - I do something similar, but I hate writing them all out!
4this is sooooooo cool!
5I do sometghing along these lines
6I love this!
7Awesome idea, but that's spiral bound. (trust me, I work in the book industry and just spent 6 months revamping binding codes)
You can do it yourself with a 3 ring binder and binder page cover things. My mother made me one with our family recipes, tab sheets, and those diviers with pockets in them so I could put in recipes that I print out or cut out.
Also, "vanity presses" like cafepress.com will print books for you so if you want an actual bound book you can check those out.
8Also, it says in one of the videos that it's $34.95 for 100 recipes. If you don't use all 100 at point of order, you get "credits" to use whenever you want. Its like a binder so you can just put in recipes when you get them.
I really like the credit for unused recipes!
9I just use the "my recipe box" feature on foodnetwork.com. It saves any recipes that you add to your favorites. I love it!
Other than that, I just have a recipe box for recipes I've cut out of newspapers, magazines, etc. And I have 10-15 cookbooks that I don't use nearly enough!
10I collect cookbooks. I haven't counted them, but I know I have well over 50. I also use the foodnetwork.com recipe box and keep a well stocked recipe box at home. But this is a really great idea too!
11I think I just squealed out loud! I keep mine in a binder LOL this is WAY better.
12I really like the ones that are already made for you. Does that defeat the purpose?
