Only to defrost or reheat. I hear that using the microwave is bad for you. How? I don't know. A health nut of mine said something about it, but she lost me.
Yea...or if I need to quickly half defrost something...but I clean my microwave in my weekly sleaning routine so it's never yucky and gross with bacteria everywhere!!!
I don't have a microwave (we sacrificed it to make room for the espresso machine and mixer), but occasionally I wish we did. Melting chocolate would be so much easier with one, and let me
tell you that there is no quick way to reheat lasagna without one!
basically everyday, but pretty much only to heat up water for tea. i used to have a cute little raqwa that i used to heat up water on the stove, but i lost it when i moved
As a college student pretty much every meal I consume outside the dining hall has at least one element (if not the whole thing) that has been microwaved.
i use it almost every day
but never to cook
always to reheat
but since im big on making use of leftovers
thats quite often
that being said:
i could never
and will never live with out one

I think I microwave almost every day, especially since I usually have leftovers for lunch

2I think I only use it to defrost something or reheat leftovers! I HATE TV dinners, or anything made in the microwave, it just seems weird!!!
3I don't have a microwave
4It's all those chemicals from plastics that leech into the food.
5I try my best to reheat things on the stove and stay away from the microwave but sometimes when you're in a hurry you just have to use it.
6Once a week, maybe even less
7Yea...or if I need to quickly half defrost something...but I clean my microwave in my weekly sleaning routine so it's never yucky and gross with bacteria everywhere!!!
8gotta have the microwave to melt butter quick!! lol
9I am the queen of microwave meals and popcorn and all other things that can be made in two minutes or less.
10Don't have a microwave and never did have one! Although I don't have an oven either...!
11I don't use it every day. I'd say maybe twice a week.
12how else am i to heat my morning oatmeal or mug of hot chocolate? less than two minutes to zap and i'm downing breakfast and out the door!

14I reheat a lot of leftovers and heat water for tea, so pretty much every day.
15I use it for leftovers and to make tea or hot chocolate.
16I live in a dorm right now so I don't have many cooking options... although my microwave is also a toaster oven... highly illegal dorm item...
17Basically reheating, defrosting or trying to melt something faster and quicker.
18i use it a few times a week.. to re heat left overs and what not.. thats about it!
19Not too often, but it's a great way to boil water quickly!
20i use it every day for tea, oatmeal, soup, start a baked potato...the possibilities are endless!!
21I don't own a microwave. I live in an apartment and in order to save space I got rid of it. I never used it anyway.
22I don't have one anymore. It took a while to get used to being without one, things take a little longer but I don't mind.
23basically everyday, but pretty much only to heat up water for tea. i used to have a cute little raqwa that i used to heat up water on the stove, but i lost it when i moved
24I'm trying to use it less. Some nights, it's hard to get motivated to cook after work and class.
25As a college student pretty much every meal I consume outside the dining hall has at least one element (if not the whole thing) that has been microwaved.
26But never in plastic
27Only when reheating a dish.
28Mainly to reheat items. not to cook.
29Can I ask why some of you use it to heat water?
30Isn't electric kettle faster&easier option?
I usually reheat my tea every morning since I like it really hot and it cools fast. But other than that, I rarely use it.
31I don't have a microwave
32When asked what she thought of the microwave, Julia Child was quoted as saying, "It's good for drying out wet newspapers."
33Just about every day for me.
34i guess i use the microwave at work, but we don't have one at home.

I do not want to live without my microwave. I use it daily... multiple times. But to be fair... I use my stove/oven just as much.
37That was a fun little poem, chancleta!
38My child need instant gratification.
39There for I frequently use our microwave to heat up leftovers and soy corn dogs.
