I just recently came across a "fantastic" new product called Batter Blaster. Instead of whipping up your own pancake batter, or even using the just add water kind, you just shake, point, blast and cook. I don't know about you guys, but I think this is a bit ridiculous. It's like squeeze cheese, but with pancakes. What do you think, would you use it?

I bet this is so bad for you...
Ick.
1If it tastes good and isn't HORRIBLE for me, then I am all for it. It would definitely cut down on the mess of mixing bowls and such.
2Why not? How is that any better than cheese coming from a can..just because we aren't used to it. When cheese in a can came out I'm sure people were skeptical...but eventually let it adapt into their lives. This is defintaly something different, but something worth a try I think!
3umm i'd rather mix my own with apples and cinnamon thanks
4Ewwww! That looks sick!!! Haha!
5ewww....it's not like mixing up pancake batter is that hard...
6Assuming it's not any worse than the mix, I don't see why not. You could certainly get creative with it and make fun shapes!
7nasty chemicals to preserve the dairy in the pancakes. i might give it a try once just too see what it is like though.
8It's an interesting idea. After reading the ingredient label on the website, I would probably give it a try. It seems a little less processed than the ready to go mix that's on the shelves, and it's refrigerated.
I would just worry about the tinny/metallic taste from the can.
9Seriously? How much more lazy can we get? It's not like pancake batter is time consuming to make - flour, eggs, milk. Who doesn't already have those things in their pantry? Also, I'm sure it's full of preservatives.
10Absolutely not. Plus, my son loves to help me with the batter and it's wonderful quality time together.
11Toxic chemical pancakes..........Delicious!!!
12no way. i like making my own and putting it in those cute molds from crate and barrel.
13I don't even eat whipped cream out of those cans. Can you imagine all the chemicals they use.
14nope.. I make my pancakes from scratch. I don't even use boxed crap
15yeah sure....i'd have that then top it with cheese whiz!
16i bet it taste great
17and is so easy to use
i would love to try it once
but overall i try not to eat overly processed foods
eww. gross
18ummm no thanks. This is why I am afraid of processed foods.
19So much waste. Why do we need to throw away a spray can when we can reuse a mixing bowl.
And for what it's worth, if I spent the night at a guy's house and he whipped this out in the morning, well... let's just say a strong pot of coffee would impress me more.
20this is wrong on SO many levels, LMAO!
21that was uncalled for kathleen joy.
22I am proud to say I have never let cheese in a can adapt in to my life, so why in the world would I allow this in. I thought this world was moving in a more natural direction. This is just so sad.
23ive used it and it's great. the ingredients aren't scary!
24It's so easy to make pancakes! Why would you use this?
Food in cans is disgusting.
25It's really not that hard to make pancakes. I would rather make my own.
This might be cool for young kids to do once but that's about it.
26my stomach is clenching in disgust just reading about it. yuck.
27niiiiiiiiiiice, how 'joy' ful!
28Great idea but would never touch the stuff! I am not a person for cheese-like product in can or pancake batter either! Sorry!
29Hm, apparently it's certified organic. That just doesn't seem to mesh with batter-in-a-can. But the ingredients list doesn't look that scary, so maybe my first impression (which is 'eeewww') is off.
I still wouldn't use this. It's easy enough to whip up my own batter. Plus, it reminds me too much of Cheese Whiz, which really freaks me out.
30Gross. Never!
31Well I might try it once just for the novelty - but I too try to stay away from processed and overpackaged foods. Besides, I don't think I could find it in a supermarket near me. If FreshDirect doesn't stock it, I don't eat it!
32This post has brought out the catty, judge-y side of so many people!
Newsflash: the choice to consume or nto consume food that comes in a can (even *gasp* an aerosol can!)is not indicative of a person's character!
Besides, this particular product is organic, with almost no ingredients a scratch version wouldn't contain. And it's recyclable!
I, for one, would be very interested in trying it, as I live alone and occassionally like to eat pancakes. If I make a whole batch of batter, I will either make too many pancakes, and have to somehow store them, or I will let a batch of batter go bad in the fridge.
Save the judgement, thanks.
33Wow, now that's what you call LAZY! There's nothing like making it from scratch.
34I say no, thats just too lazy for me.
35Whoa, not a chance.
36this just made me gag
37I bet this stuff is loaded with preservatives, which, according to my dr., will cause every American to eventually get Diverticulitis. I am trying to faze preservatives completely out of my diet, but it's soooo hard, because everything that isn't "fresh" is loaded wih it.
38As long as they didn't add anything that isn't normally in batter, I would try it.
39I bet this would be great for college-bound students (esp. guys who might not be comfortable in the kitchen). But it's a little too close to that aerosol cheese for my liking, ick.
40You can get cheese in a can?!?!?!?!
That strikes me as rather strange.. weirder than pancakes in a can I think!
41If it tastes good then I'd use it
42There is nothing like whipping up a batch of pancakes for the fam! My mom makes amazing pancakes and making them always reminds me of her! I'm not sure I like the idea of squirting out my pancake batter like spray cheese(side note, did anyone see that they came out with spray can cream cheese??)! I'll take the tradition method over the newest oddity any day, even the mess that comes with it!
43My aunt's good friend is the inventor of this item...We recently took our boat out to Catelina for 5 days and this stuff was a HIT! We used it as a test run before it went on the market. Totally easy clean up, pancakes were PERFECT, absolutely amazing. AND, it's organic! If you are thinking spray cheese, definitely not the same thing. This stuff is on a whole nother level. Add some chocolate chips on top or some banannas, and you've got an even more delicious meal. If you havn't tried this yet, give it a whirl. While not as good as 100% homemade, this stuff definitely is worth a try!
44It's probably good for bachelors! I wouldn't use this because pancake batter is so easy to make! Also, some people prefer a thicker or lighter pancake so you can't adjust the consistency.
45I prefer pancakes made from scratch than from a mix or this can.
46I agree with silver4. I live alone, so there's no point in me making an entire batch of pancakes (or most other things) for myself. I'd 2 and end up throwing the rest of the batter away. I'd definitely try this, especially since it's organic. Why not? Obviously made from scratch will taste better, but it's not always feasible.
47Is it really all that different from canned pancake batter?
48How lazy do you have to be to have to use that!
49ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
