or you can make apple-pumpkin pie! made this for the past two thanksgivings and it was a hit...very unexpected but trust me it is amazing and I look forward to it every year
I love everything apple- baked apples, apple cider, applesauce, caramel apples, but I just don't like apple pie, even when I make it. But pumpkin I do love.
Pumpkin pie any die!! I don't really like pie except pumpkin at Thanksgiving and Marie Callendar's has "fresh" peach only in August and it is to die for!
I have the world's biggest sweet tooth, yet I have no interest in pies at all. It's such a mystery to me, and people seem to love pie soooo much that I feel like I'm missing out.
I'm not really a fan of pie, but when I do indulge it's usually a cream pie (banana followed by chocolate) or custard. For the purpose of Turkey Day though, I'd go pumpkin, unless of course
we're talking Dutch Apple. See, my issue with fruit pies is that unless the crust in INCREDIBLE, buttery, and extremely flaky, I don't like the double crust thing.
Pumpkin...I think its the creamy texture that gets me.
Some dense, custardy, subtly spicy pumpkiny deliciousness under a bi t of whipped cream and on top of a yummy flaky crust and some hot vanilla coffee on the side...
Mmm =)
I'd rather have tiramisu than any pie to be honest.
My mom makes a pumpkin pie of legend and lore...her pumpkin praline is also delightful. For apple, I go with my dad's apple strudel. Great. I'm hungry now.
I have the greatest recipe for pumpkin chiffon pie with a graham cracker and coconut crust that we make every Thanksgiving. So looking forward to eating it this year!

This soup ends up being a good source of three blood pressure-lowering minerals since the milk adds calcium and the potatoes deliver a dose of potassium, as well as magnesium.

14OMG, what a choice! Those are my two favorite types of pies.
My father is famous in our family for his apple pie, it's by FAR the best I've ever had...so I guess if I had to pick, I'd go with HIS apple pie.
15I've never actually had pumpkin pie before. I don't think it is as popular in England as the US.

I also get a hankering for sour cherry pie occasionally. It's da bomb too!

Apple pie, I don't like all the spices. I'll make it but won't eat it.
