Last night's episode of Kitchen Nightmares was certainly a cliffhanger; what on earth happened to Sebastian's restaurant? Sebastian, the delusional owner and chef of the Southern California pizzeria, clashed with Gordon Ramsay over the menu, the food, and the approach towards owning a restaurant. Ninety five percent of Sebastian's conceptual, convoluted menu was reheated, frozen food. After Ramsay simplified things by focusing on homemade pizzas, Sebastian threw a massive temper tantrum, causing chaos and confusion in his kitchen.
What did you think of the episode? Were you outraged by Sebastian's immature and rude behavior? Do you think he reversed Ramsay's changes and went back to the frozen foods and conceptual menu?

My boyfriend and I love this show! I had no idea how difficult it was to own/operate a restaurant. Ramsay is always so right. It gets pretty intense!!
1Shoot, I hit the wrong thing.
I definately think something weird happened with Sebastians.
2I didn't see a follow up, unless I missed it. They usually give you a little prologue, but last night, Ramsey walked out, and the episode was over.
He is probably out of business by now.
3i think so too. he was a royal *sshole. he's one of those people who'd rather have things the way he wants them and fail and be open to new ideas and succeed.
4That guy was completely bipolar or something - talk about serious mood swings!
5He obviously hasn't changed a damn thing:

6he was utterly ridiculous. my sis and i were sure that he didn't change anything and there it is, plain as day.
7I was so flustered last night watching this! Why would he ask for Gordon's help and then get mad when he comes in and changes things?!? I don't understand that part of the show. Ramsay is obviously there to help and make it better, why argue? I'm sure Sebastian changed it back!
8lol I bet he did!! Great find Iwillmarryunick! That is hilarious. I would have walked out and charged him for the renovations if I were Ramsay!
9I really love to see it when he goes in to the restaurant and does a change and they love it and are open to it and become successful because of it.
This is also why I like the BBC version much, much better. They don't find complete morons who think they have some God-given right to run a restaurant. The people know just how far in the financial hole they are and know something needs to change. It's not always easy for them, but they do it.
This guy obviously just felt that he didn't care about the debt or that Gordon's massive success in the restaurant industry didn't count for anything just because Gordon doesn't sell pizza.
10That guy was an idiot, and a jerk. He gets Gordon Ramsay in there to fix his restaurant, they redecorate the place, give him new appliances, and he acts like that? He throws a tantrum after he's been given all this stuff? Sebastian seems like one of those people who will reject everything in order to not have to admit he was wrong.
11The menu was the whole issue. He seemed to like the redecorating.
He reminded me of the Dad in Little Miss Sunshine, with his "steps program". He was so stuck on his idea, he didn't seemed to notice it was a failure and nobody else liked it.
12This was the first time I watched the show after reading about it here. This guy was so ridiculous, I don't get why you would sign up for the show if you weren't going to change a thing. I'm sure today after the airing of the show the place is empty.
13I can't watch this guy! He's crazy.
14Actually a guy posted on my forum saying Sebastians has the same menu. The owner of Sebastians posted why he did the show with Gordon Ramsay. Take a look

Cool foxfan.
16I hope that check was huge, because I don't think the appearance is going to help his business any.
Love this show!
17He brought back some "Flavor Combinations" but I think there are WAY too many things on his menu!

19jinx so true

21What a tool - why would this guy go on a show, and then tell the chef what he wanted to do and what his customers liked, if he was so great - don't bother!

When do we get more Kitchen Nightmares (especially the UK version) I know that Hells Kitchen starts June 21 - less than two weeks to go!
