Beaujolais Nouveau
A type of very young red wine. It's made from the best Gamay grapes from the Beaujolais region, which is located in the southern-most part of Burgundy, France. The wine is fermented for only seven to nine weeks and is officially released each year on the third Thursday of November. The smooth wine is an excellent companion to Thanksgiving dinner.

pronounced beau-zhoh-lay noo-voe

My family has a bottle with Thanksgiving dinner every year. It's absolutely delicious.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau that's not too expensive but is still really good? I'm a guest at a friend's Thanksgiving and I dont want to show up empty handed.
