I've decided to treat myself to a new set of knives this holiday season. My collection of knives is minimal; it's a makeshift grouping of lost and leftover knives. 3I just got a brand new set of Henckels knives at their warehouse sale...they are awesome!
4I'm buying myself the same thing this holiday season and today I checked out a set at Costco which I think I'll end up buying. It's a 9 piece (I *think*) Henckel's set with a block and sharpener for about $170. No shears but the set came with room to expand the set. My dad swears that this is the best deal on knives to be found but if you can come up with something better, please let us know! Thanks!
5I have this exact set! The great thing about Henckels is that they will replace any knife you have for FREE if it breaks or is defective. I've had one of my knives replaced already. No questions asked. It was done in a timely manner, too.
6I will only use Henckel knives myself - Ive been using them since I was younger. I like them because you never have to sharpen them, they are really good, quality knives.
