my ex never left the table without ordering dessert, no matter how stuffed we were! (he was also the type to just throw around money.) also, when i'm with my parents we always get it! but
personally i'm only down for ordering it for myself if it's tirimisu. i'm a SUCKER for tirimisu!
I make special outings for dessert with my friends... wine and something chocolaty (or tiramisu). if I'm out for dinner, usually I'm satisfied with just dinner.
These are the factors for me, my mood, if I'm on a romantic date, the restaurant and if they're known for their desserts and lastly, what I'm wearing (If I'm wearing something loose, than it
will not matter if I splurge, as nobody will be able to see my stomach expand).
My boyfriend and I really like eating out, but dessert's a rare thing. More often we'll go to the local soft serve place or pick up ice cream. But when it comes to Cheesecake Factory, try to
stop us! Actually, don't. You'd probably end up in the trunk of our car. WITHOUT CHEESECAKE.
Just had another thought-it's tough to find really good desserts at the places we like eating! Our favorite foods are japanese and chinese, and those aren't really known for their deserts.
Except for li hing mui or mochi, and it's hard to find those on the mainland (my family's from hawaii, where you can get those pretty much anywhere).
I never usually do, but if it's a special occasion or a fancy place, sometimes I like to. But my boyfriend does not have a sweet tooth at all, so if we order dessert, I'll be the only one who
eats it. That's no fun, so I usually just don't order it.
Also, as aSLAMMINhottie mentioned, asian restaurants don't really offer much in the way of dessert, and we eat a lot of Thai food. I don't like sweet rice, so that's that.
Mostly everytime I eat out which is once every two weeks. My boyfriend really loves sweets and so I eat less dinner, and that way we can share a dessert.
i'm vegan so at most restaurants dessert isn't even a thought. but on the rare occasion that i get to eat a a restaurant that has vegan desserts (usually a veg restaurant) i usually get
something.
For me, it depends on who I am dining with. But we always only get one dessert and share. If I am out with my parents or family and one of the desserts sounds divine weorder one and ask for
multiple spoons. A couple of delicious richness is just enough.
Even when I'm absolutely bonkers about the savory and as full as anyone could ever be, I insist on ordering a dessert (or cheese plate). You see, without a delicious finale, the experience is
unfinished, unbalanced. And then there's the post dinner digestivo...extra stars when the house has a respectable list!
i eat out alot! haha.. its bad i know.. but i actaully hardly ever get dessert!... the first time in about 3 months was on sat.. and it was a nice piece of cake that my boyfriend and i
shared... soo really its not tooo often!.. and we only get it when we go somewhere and the dessert is worth it!... cuz im not going to pay $5 for something like ice cream! .. i could buy a
whole tub for $5!! haha
I would order dessert if I were still hungry, but I fill up quickly so I never do. I suppose the only thing that counts is having a sugary cocktail before or during dinner.
I only order dessert if I think that the dessert will be so sinfully delicious that it will be worth the calories it contains. I'm not going to eat a lack luster sorbet, even though that's
low cal, but I will have a rich and delicious lavender flavored creme brulee.
Of course, it also depends if others are ordering dessert, too.
My boyfriend and I have date night every weekend, and we usually split a dessert. Sometimes, we're too full though...I'd rather fill up on steak or something than sweets!

1I dunno, I am usualyl full after dinner anyways!
I usually order dessert. I even cut back on my main course so I don't feel so guilty eating dessert!
2not very often, but when I do I make it count and get the richest thing they offer!
3Generally I'm so full after a good dinner out that I can't do dessert. However, I have a hard time turning down a good brownie sundae
4If I'm at a nice restaurant, I'll order dessert. This may sound pompous, but I think I can usually make better desserts than most restaurants.
5I usually order dessert but I never really eat out more than once a month, so I don't feel guilty about 12 desserts per year.
6All I want for Christmas...is this awesome giveaway!

15I go out to eat every weekend with my husband and I probably order dessert one out of four times I'd say.
Sometimes I'm just too full. But if I have room for it, I usually go for an apple crisp or something like that.
16Other: By the time I finish my meal, I'm too full to eat desert lol
17I don't order dessert at restaurants. But when I go on cruise I eat a lot of desserts (cause it's all inclusive.)

I think that is his fav. part about eating out!
20I get dessert almost every time I'm out! And I eat it almost every day at home, too. I have a really bad sweet tooth.

25I rarely get to eat dessert even though I would love to when I get the chance.
26I love having a nice dessert when I'm eating out, but I hardly ever have enough room for it!
27I'm generally too full to eat dessert unless we go out strictly for dessert, I don't order it.
28the only time that i order them is if i'm out to eat with my mom - otherwise - it's no sweets for me!
29defnitely depends on my dinner.
30Oh! Also depends on what they have to offer.
31i like to say that i have two stomachs...because somehow no matter how full i am when i order dessert I'm always able to eat it!
32I'll usually only order dessert if I'm still hungry after my dinner...

34It's usually every time I eat out, but sometimes if I'm just too full, I'll pass. (Unbelievable! I surprise myself sometimes.)
35almost every time.
36Almost never.... but two weeks ago I had to. Seven Layer Chocolate cake ... I shared it with my sugar though
37I don't order sweets because they are absurdly priced, not because I don't like them.
38Country Betty I'm jealous!

40Only if it's a special occasion, like birthday .

42It totally depends on the quality of the restaurant's desserts. There are some places I will go just for the dessert!
43Only on special occasions!
44hardly ever b/c im usually so stuffed after dinner. if i have dessert on the mind then i usually have to go out just for that.
45not often since I am usuallt too full once they ask.
46I love food too much to ever be cabable of ordering dessert. I never have enough room.
