A few weeks ago, I received a HUGE package from the folks at Starbucks. Inside was another box, and then another and another. After all the packaging material had been removed, I finally discovered a gigantic martini glass filled and the ingredients needed to create a Gingerbread Lattetini. It was a bit too early in the day for a mixed drink, so I set the glass aside and forgot about it for a while. Fast forward to yesterday: I was cleaning off my desk and wondered what to do with this gigantic glass. Then I wondered why I was wondering what to do, after all there was only one option — drink up!
The Gingerbread Lattetini is a simple drink to whip up and is definitely festive. It's creamy, smooth, and sinfully sipable. It is, however, a tad on the sweet side; almost like an alcoholic version of a creamy cinnamon butterscotch candy. It is also simple to make, so if it sounds like something you'd like to indulge in, read more

That sounds good! I bet a nice vanilla biscotti would be a perfect dipper.
Wait, did the folks at Starbucks just send you this out of the blue?
You had me at "Gingerbread Lattetini."
It sounds like something I could have one of, but man, would I enjoy that one.
That would be a cute gift for a gift exchange all wrapped up
OMG, I NEED to make that...the gingerbread latte is all I've been drinking from Starbucks lately. So yummy.
lovely gift!
sounds yummy - but where's the ginger?
Someday I will be so awesome that companies mail me random gifts.
What a nice gift! I'm going to keep this idea in mind for a holiday present.
Cute idea!!
Not sure I would drink it though...
can you buy this set in stores?
Just noticed-the gingerbread man looks a tad broken.
The set isn't available at stores (that I know of), but they definitely won't be at starbucks stores. Their alcoholic liqueurs are not available in their stores.
and yes, the gingerbread man cracked when I yanked it out of the box.
Oohhh... that sounds sinfully delicious!
I wish I could have Yum's packages forwarded to me
Yum, you just wanted to take some abuse out on a man eh?

i love this! i can see myself giving it to friends as a gift.
I would love to give these as a gift but it's so hard to find miniatures in my area.
I wonder if you could froth up some eggnog in this instead of milk.
PrincessTracy I like the way you think.
I agree. I imagine you could get sick of it though.
