Haha, I don't eat bacon but I am totally tempted to try to see what other people think. I can't say they sound appealing to me, but I love daring bakers who come up with these creative ideas. I'd make a batch for my Chrismukkah party but I can't serve bacon to all my fellow Jews... so maybe I'll make a test batch and bring them to the lab and see what people have to say.

I bet they're delicious, like those maple bar donuts with bacon from voodoo donuts in portland. mmmm... bacon.

I don't think I'd make them myself because I don't really eat bacon, but it doesn't seem that horrible to me. I mean, I love the salty/sweet combo and I think bacon would add a lot of that saltiness that I love.

I'm a firm believer in not doing the salty/sweet combo. My sweets need to be pure for just the right fix!

I've made something called Pig Candy before - bacon, coated in brown sugar, and baked at 350 until crispy and basically caramel coated.

It's tastes like a delicious heart attack on a plate.

It looks rather grim but I would try it once, just to see if it tastes good.
