i want to go to paris
1Honeslty, the food I had in Italy was the best I have ever had.
2Paris was up there too, but I think Italy is more fmaous for its food.
French food is just so fantastic.
3For me, it would be Paris or Rome.
4La nourriture en Paris est magnifique! J'ai faim pour certains maintenant.
5Sydney has incredible food and lots of diverse choices. Rome and Paris - I enjoyed the food but definitely miss the diversity.
6i would choose them all if i could! im sure they all have wonderful food!!..
and one
day i will try it!
7Actually, it's Tokyo... why is that on here?!
http://www.slashfood.com/2007/12/09/best-city-for-food-isnt-paris/
8...oops, why ISN'T.
9Italy is known for it's food whereas Paris is known for attitude with maybe some food on the side. Hard to get a bad meal in Italy. Paris is wonderful but I don't recall any out of this world meals although high tea at The Ritz is pretty fun.
10Prague!?!? Hmmm ok.
11Rome!
12Oh, no way - why wasn't Tokyo on the list??????? Some of the most unbelievable food I've ever had was in Tokyo, but I am a sushi fan after all.
13Out of these Im saying Barcelona ... but Im with Aimee on this Rome.. its my kitchen or there for authentic italian
14French cuisine is très très mauvais à mon avis. Ick.
15Paris for sure. You don't have it on there but I love German food and Munich is tops! I didn't really like the food in Barcelona but I think I made bad choices.
16Not that I've been there. But everyone knows Paris for the food!
17i L-O-V-E italian food.
18I'm also a HUGE fan of corned beef and corned beef hash, so ireland too
Paris for sure! Chocolate, cheese, wine, and baked goods, mmm. That's all I ate while I was there.
London? Definitely not, unless I had a huge vacation budget. I survived on pub food, Indian food, and lots and lots of sandwiches out of the Sainburys near my hostel.
19I picked Italy too even though it isn't on the list.
20Paris!!
21BarTHelona!! Spanish food has influenced so many other cultures.
22I say when you fly across the pond, visit both Paris and Rome to get the best of both!
23I would have to say Paris, Rome, and then London. I can't comment on the rest of the cities because I haven't been there. I'm thinking Barcelona would be on the list too since I love Spanish cuisine.
24mmm, I picked Paris!
25Seville and Florence have some of the best regional cuisine, but the best city I've eaten in was actually Berlin. Terrific cuisine from all over the world - Turkish, Sudanese, Mediterranean, you name it.
26When i was in norway i was in food heaven. My grandparents own a fish market...so just imagine.....but you have to like seafood alot!
27I love Mexican food, so I picked Mexico City. Getting traditional dishes is worth the visit there!
28not sure how we forgot tokyo! i would have to agree that city has some amazing eats!
It's actually really tough to pick only one city, can we do a food tour instead???
29in my opinion...there is NO question that PARIS is #1
...paris creates luxe rich sauces, complex flavors and techniques that are the epitome of fine dining throughout the world....
30Anybody in the know will say Barcelona, or San Sebastian, Spain. Spain is at the top of the game right now in terms of innovation, and deliciously prepared food.
31So I went to HONG KONG and stayed at the Shangri la Hotel and I was SO LUCKY! There was a restaurant in the hotel called CAFE TWO and well, lets just say it was an ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant that features cuisine from EVERYWHERE in the world! You name a country: the food was there! I would go up for 5ths, it was THAT GOOD! The people behind the counter would tell me that I ate a TON and I would just say: "What do you expect, I am American!" HAHAH!
32OMG! how is TOKYO not on here?!?! wasn't it voted like the best city for food??
33if it was on the list, i'd def. choose Tokyo
i've been to many of those cities (thank goodness for study abroad) and i have to say that london and paris are still my all time favs...but since i've never been to hong kong or rome...those are up there too
34Oh, YumSugar, indeed, how could you forget Tokyo?
35I voted Paris but I'm being a real chauvinist on that one since I'm French.
However, had Tokyo been in the list, that city would definitely have gotten my vote.
Eating a fresh sushi on the market nearby the water with bare feet : unforgettable.
Paris??? Yum how can you pick Paris??? Doesn't everybody know that the french city of LYON is the world's gastronomic capital?! Paris has nothing compared to Lyon!!
36barcelona..but i meant all of them!
37European food is awesome!
38i picked rome i love italian foods
