Christmas AND Thanksgiving
thanksgiving!! well i guess bc i can stick to some sort of traditional menu, for me the xmas menu is all up in the air
i'm irish and i don't even like st paddy's food
I love cooking out, and i can eat me some hot dogs. So the 4th is my favorite. Plus being outside, the sparklers....the fireworks..so magical and fun
I said Cinco de Mayo because I LOVE Mexican... Christmas & Thanksgiving are the same meals in my house. I love those too but Cinco is different.
I'm irish too and I love irish food. Corned beef is the best!
but i do love the traditional thanksgiving fare too. Although this year we had some hawaiian friends over, so we had some new stuff too
My absolute favorite has been Thanksgiving ever since I was litte (i like to eat, a lot)! However, I am loving Cinco de Mayo more and more each year because I love Mexican foods and there is this place here where they go all out and dance and sing and decorate, FUN!
The Super Bowl—beer and pizza!
I love TG and X-mas, but nothing beats gumbo and King Cake for Mardi Gras!
...I have a feeling I'm going to be the lone Cajun on here.
its a toss up between christmas and new years! i love them both.. im super excited for new years this year! i cant wait!!! i get my tickets today its going to be a BLAST!!!!
FOR ME IS EITHER CHRISTMAS OR THANKSGIVING I LOVE THEM BOTH ALOT
The choices are very American, it's not easy to relate to most of them. Here on New Year's people don't eat, they drink. Easter... not much going on there. Canada Day is the official moving day in Quebec, thanks to stupid separatists who don't want us to celebrate. Halloween is for kids. Thanksgiving in Quebec? Hehehe. Yeah right. So I guess Christmas is my answer. We eat eat the traditional turkey, meat pie, meatball stew, fruit ketchup, beets and of course the best, the Bûche de Noël. It's one of the only traditions we still have.
ow lord is the superbowl a holiday in America??!!! dont you think you guys take this football thing a bit too serious hahahah
i love cookies, but unfortunately they are just available on christmas...
I'm not cajun, Elizabeth Rae, but nothing beats a good King Cake. I miss NOLA!! I said Halloween, but now I'm not sure why. Pretty much anything sweet--cakes, cookies, candy and I'm good to go. Those can be available at almost any holiday. I absolutely hate traditional Thanksgiving food. I just eat left-over pizza and apple crisp. Maybe some mashed potato sans gravy.
New Year!
The whole of my family get together so we have everyone's Christmas leftovers plus loads of extra food.
easter - cadbury creme eggs, people!
Mardi Gras- I love to make my Cajun family's specialities! I'm not a big turkey fan, so Thanksgiving isn't my favorite.
I guess Thanksgiving for excessive food intake and Cinco de Mayo & St. Patty's for excessive drink intake!!
THANKSGIVING STUFFFING!!!!!!!!!!! yummmmmm
I love Super Bowl food! Wings, Beer, Chili, Dips of all kinds...its like national junk food day. Complete with football! Only thing better is the Stanly Cup finals and any day where you get presents. Food wise...its the Super Bowl!
thanksgivingggg! yumm
i had to laugh when i saw passover. i love matzoh ball soup more than anything, but that's about as exciting as the holiday gets. i had to say cinqo de maio - cause any excuse to eat mexican and get drunk on margaritas is ok in my book
Cinco de Mayo...nothing better than a big Mexican fiesta.
Christmas!! Christmas Eve my family has lots of lobster and crab. Christmas morning my mom makes an amazing quiche and serves mimosas. Christmas night we have prime rib and chocolate soufflés for dessert, plus lots of champagne and great wine. I'm in heaven!
Thanksgiving is the best!
New Year's Day is probably the biggest holiday my family celebrates. Lots of good eats!
Thanksgiving of course!
And Mexican food on Cinqo de Mayo is always fun too.
cant wait for x-mas
Superbowl?
Hoagies and chips?
My fav is Christmas!
Eid al Fitr - celebrated by 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide and not even on your list, along with Ramadan or Eid al Adha. But I love Eid al Fitr. It's the feast of Breaking Fast after a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset for Ramadan, and it's always full of delicious Arab cuisine like baba ghanoosh, fooul, hummus, hot pita bread, baklavas, chai tea, and turkish coffee atmy house!
Thanksgiving all the way.
I like any holiday based around food. I have never been to passover but my friend makes is sound so amazing - I picked Thanksgiving because that i have been to and made myself.
