This Summer YumSugar and I went on a trip around the world, and we invited you along for the ride! We devoted entire days to discussing the delicious cuisines from 10 different countries around the globe. I've looked back at all of our coverage and picked out my favorite memories from our culinary journeys. Here they are for you to revisit! Starting in top left corner and moving clockwise:
- Yum celebrated all things Brazilian by making Pão de Queijo, a Brazilian cheese bread.
- I planned a travel party.
- In Morocco, we chowed down on kefta — spiced meatballs — with eggs.
- We learned how to say cheers in 12 different languages.
- When we went to Japan, we channeled our inner sushi chef by rolling sushi.
How about you? Where did you enjoy traveling to this year?

oooooooo those cheese breads look like the cheddar bay biscuits that red lobster serves. *droooooooool*
1I want to make that cheese bread...I'm surprised it doesn't have a ton of butter in it... It sort of uses the same technique as cream puffs
2I went to the Navaho reservation in Chinle, AZ and the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Whiteriver, AZ in August, and I was introduced to various types of Native American cuisine. I especially loved the fry bread. It can be used in both savory and sweet recipes. Also, I learned a new method of cooking finfish...on a wooden plank soaked in saltwater, then roasted over an open fire. It was delicious!
3We went to Maui this year - our first time in Hawaii. Went to a luau - the food was okay. I thought I'd like it better but it wan't for me. I prefer a good ol' fashion BBQ. Poi was gross!
4* wasn't
5Um...I traveled a good many miles to work and back!(does that count?)
6I want sushi so bad! I guess I know where I'm going for lunch tomorrow!
7I went to Berlin and Krakow. Polish beer and bread is amazing, and in Berlin I had Sudanese falafel with spicy peanut sauce - wonderful!
