Leftovers are good - BUT I usually go online (or seach the zillion cookbooks I have) for a new dish. We had ham so tonight it's gonna be Ham and Rigatoni Casserole - the name is boring but
it's like mac 'n cheese but you use country gravy instead of cheese sauce. Something new! I'll add my own twist and give it a new name.
i've never liked leftovers. i was at my boyfriend's family's house for the holiday and we had christmas lunch - and then they wanted to have the same thing for dinner - too much of the same
thing for me. i only like things one time
Depends on the leftover - in my experience everyone gets sick of leftover turkey, leftover stuffing gets soggy, but pie tastes much better the next day (especially for breakfast!)
Saw a great idea for leftover turkey & sides. Take a pie or cake pan, make a crust of stuffing (just pat into place. Layer all of your turkey, veggies, etc,. then top with mashed potatoes
(sweet potatoes, too) Bake till warmed through & slice like a pie. Yum.
