Now, I don't know if this is true or just an anomaly caught on film, but according to Wenn, a farmer in China has decided to grow heart-shaped peanuts. If these things really exist, they'll be perfect for Valentine's Day. Could you imagine getting a packet of these? They'd be a great alternative to chocolates. I'd like to think that they're real and that we'll see them on the shelves eventually. However, something tells me it's just this one freak peanut; either way it's a cute treat for Valentine's Day.

Hehe, I think these are cute!
1I could honestly see lots of my female friends trying to get those for their S.O. if they don't have a peanut allergy. =)
2So cute! I love hearts!
3i believe that they are doing it. wehn i was in disney world last year - they grew mickey ear shaped pumpkins and watermelons. they just put them in a mold when they start growing and change the shape.
i don't know how romantic peanuts are though...
4super cute! and much healthier than chocolate!
5Very cute!
6I think they're cute!
7Awwww!!!
8Those are so cute for V-Day!!!
These are awesome!
9Wow, these are so cute!
10ilanac13- it would be extremely difficult to grow peanuts in a mold, as they grow underground. or they would be like 55$ a pop...
11That's very cute but there's no way I'll ever have them because I have a peanut allergy!
12very cute but I prefer boiled peanuts
13AWWW Very Cute!
14Awwwwwwwwwwwwww
15so cute but how in the hell were those created?
16So cute!
17How cute!
18So cute! I'd buy them.
19Uh, I'm allergic to peanuts so if someone got me this I might be offended. Although my boyfriend did get me peanuts by accident for our first Valentines Day and it sort of freaked me out.
I'll stick with cupcakes
20Peanuts are very odd and moldy looking anyway
sooooo cute.... very handy!!!
21What does the peanut look like inside? A heart too? Or one big peanut and one small peanut? Cause I hate those undeveloped small peanuts.
22Anyway, I still think this is awesome.
That's incredibly silly.
...I love it.
23How sweet. I love these kind of peanuts any how,but I would love to have a bunch of the heart kind just because of their unique features. I can't get over it. How is it possible? Look at me, I've raised an entire potato patch of weird animal shapes and some that looked like hearts, diamonds, and clovers. Please, don't ask me how, I just planted the little buggers and that's what happened. It was a new field with dark black soil which was also next to a large creek with spring water ruuning off a embankment. I love growing gardens with veggies. I also love a beatiful surprise.
