I saw these simple chocolate Ritz cracker sandwiches and drooled just a little bit. The sweet/salt flavor sounds like a dangerous combo! — Joyful Abode via Tastespotting

A hliday goodie I make every year and hand out (that are a huge hit) is I take ritz crackers, make peanutbutter sanwhiches out of them, then DIP the ritz obutter sandwhich in chocolate. They are delish. IO think these would be good, but would be missing the peanutbuttery goodness, and massive amount of chocolate.
How about using Nutella instead? And adding slices of banana for a healthy twist
Ohh I like that idea king's queen
I like the idea of adding bananas too!
I would probably use another type of cracker, I really don't care for Ritz. They're too buttery tasting.
I don't like this combo at all. It sounds gross.
I've never gotten into mixing the salty and sweet. Yay, one craving I DON'T have!
oh man! my mouth is watering!
oh my goodness don't show me that!
I was thinking the same thing as king's queen, using Nutella, that would taste yummy too.
that's crazy. i made peanut butter nutella ritz crackers for my snack yesterday.
that's just weird timing.
Good idea king's queen
for holidays we make "thin mint" like cookie by dipping Ritz into melted chocolate with mint extract.
Oooh yum! I've been on a Ritz binge since we got them in the office.
Ugh, that sounds fab.
This is yummy and I just saw on M. Stewart the mint Ritz, meghead. I gotta try that.
i did the mint ones for my husband's christmas party. i didn't have a whole lot of success dipping them and getting a clean presentation. i think the next time i do them i'll do a fondue/half dip and see if that works better.
i used my pampered chef tongs to dip them, thinking it would be clenaer. does anyone have a better idea?
I really do highly suggest the ritz pbutter sandwhiches dipped in chocolate!!!!
oven mitt, I use bakers semi-sweet baking chocolate and tongs. Tongs that are metal and open in the clamp area. I set them on wax paper until they harden back up. They always end up just fine for me.
Tempting!!
OMG I can't wait tomorrow go to the market and get some crackers and nutella !
salty and sweet! yummy
