i don't think that a chocolate fragrance on my man is really my think. all those years ago i bought the jessica siimpson scent that smelled liked chocolate or something, but it's not really my thing.

gross... i hate axe.... its just "too much" and guys bathe in the cologne its heinous.

I usually love all the Axe fragrances on a man, but chocolate? nah, the smell doesn't make me think sexy thoughts, so this seems really far-fetched..

I would have to agree avec le romantique- Axe is never used in moderation, and the fragrances always smell cheap (I was so happy when I got my hubby to convert to a new body wash).

It's funny, I think that the only reason men love it so much is because they believe the ads and think it really attracts us women! And if a little spray attracts us, then a gallon of it will make them irresistible!

Still-- I put undecided on the polls, just because I won't knock it until I can smell it. Maybe it just has undertones of dark chocolate, mixed with other notes (like Angel by Thierry Muegler- my favorite cologne for men and women). And plus, the commercial made my mouth water.

My husband wears 'touch' deodorant. It's the only one either of us like and it drives me crazy! [guess Axe is right!] but he doesn't use the body wash or spray so he doesn't wreak of it.

I've smelt this 'Chocolate', it doesn't smell that way at all.

I think axe commercials are stupid in general, this one isn't too bad compared to the rest.

i liked it... they selled it in mexico a couple of months ago... my boyfriend used to wear it... it was nice... but it didn't actually smelled like chocolate

I love the ad, and have in fact since downloaded that song! I love the part where the girl on the subway bites his butt, and I wanna buy it for my man. It definitely doesnt smell like a candy bar or anything..just nice dark chocolate undertones. sexy!

Haven't had a chance to smell it yet. I don't think I'd be too interested if it made my man smell like a candy bar. Eating chocolate is one thing. Smelling like your chocolate is another. The commercials are pretty funny though.

haven't smelled it yet but let me just tell you too much of a good thing can ruin it, having worked in a chocolate shop I can tell you the smell can be a bit nauseating at times even though I absolutely love chocolate...though not as much since i o.d.-ed on it while working there haha

I am writing tonight about your commercial for “Axe Dark Temptation”… I watched this commercial tonight for about the sixth or seventh time. I must admit, that means I have seen it about six or seven times more than I care to. That commercial borders on the most disgusting thing I have ever seen (actually it may well win first place). As an amputee I want you to know that you have stepped far beyond callous in your portrayal of a person losing limbs and body parts. The loss of a limb is a devastating occurrence and your commercial depicts the result of loss as something glamorous. Young people (your target demographic) find it hard enough to differentiate between what is real and what is fiction. You don’t “get the girl” by allowing her to rip your arm off but apparently if you wear Dark Temptation, you may well be headed in the correct direction. Grow up; whoever designed your ad campaign is cruel, heartless and sickening. There is a question in all of this… Is this the way Axe feels about all persons with disabilities or is it specifically targeted toward amputees??? I am not just venting, I expect an answer… and please no form letters.

I'm a big fan of axe, and the chocolate scent smells o so nice. I had my girlfriend licking my neck and kissing me and saying lets go to the room. Why wait and I'm not talking about snickers Its a good scent. Go to your local store and buy it. Its worth it

My plight is not with the scent of the cologn or its irresistable charms. I really do not care if your boyfriend or even HIS friends crawl all over you... That is wonderful. Just don't depict amputees as cartoon characters... Picture your best friend or your favorite uncle missing a limb and tell me then how appealing that commercial is... NOT how appealing the fragrance is...

I absolutely love the scent. My boyfriend sprayed it on and I was blissfully intoxicated... when I asked him what scent it was, I was surprised it was the chocolate one. Now, it's my favorite axe scent, and it just turns me on when he wears it. However, I believe that it's not necessarily the scent of the cologne that a man wears... it's their body's chemistry that makes the scent appealing or not. Some sprays just don't mix (or smell good) on certain men... but the chocolate axe spray definitely smells irresistible on mine!

I was never into the Axe products, until a friend of mine told me about this "chocolate" scent. I saw it in the store and sprayed a sample...not too bad at all. Think of a warm not too sweet scent with that creamy chocolate undertone. The "chocolate" is notr the strongest smell in there, it does not smell like a hershey's bar. I bought it and for once to my amazement, it was like the Axe ads. Girls were getting closer to talk to me, even people I have known for a long time. I am sold.

Do you comment on this stuff or do you just send crap to all your "buddies"... Did you read my message or has this scent got you by your parts too. When i first saw the commercials i thought they were funny and also thought that it would smell nasty.. until one day i went to walmart and decided to smell it out of curiosity.. it smelled pretty good! not like chocolate at all tho! so i bought it.. ive been using it since then.. ive also gotten pretty good reviews from girls on how i smell when i wear it.. im not gay but a couple of guy friends told me i smell good too! haha.. yeah im satisfied with it.

I don't use axe, but I wanted to test the chocolate smell theory. So I bought a hersey's, rubbed a small amount on my neck, and wrists. And put a piece in my mouth. Studies have shown women like the smell of chocolate (REAL CHOCOLATE), not chocolate smelling cologne. I guess it has to do with natural or organic or something. anyway I got hit on immensely that night, and rejected a few girls also. I'm also black so I already look like a candy bar...lol

Different fraqrances react diferently on different individuals, due to the difference in skintypes and chemicals in the body, that will cause a cologne to smell badly on one person , and smell so good you drool at the idea of smelling it again.

Wat I am saying is simply if it works on you and you get good comments then go for it, if not then take the gals shopping with you and find one that works for you with your body type, once you find the one that makes their knees weak and gives them a shiver (when on you) that is the golden ticket.

Okay, it doesn't even smell like chocolate. It's called "Dark Temptaion", and the ad says it's 'irresistable as chocolate' not smells like it lol. It smells realllllly good and I'm obsessed with it. I hate all other axe tho

my boyfriend uses it and it smells delicious on him.
but when an unknown subject decided to spray axe in my face, it also sprayed my jacket. and the jacket smells good, but not like my love.

it doesn't even taste like chocolate, by the way. ;-P
