Beer Bottle Goblets: Love It or Hate It?

There's something funny about pouring beer out of a bottle and into a glass made from a bottle, and yet with these Beer Bottle Goblets ($24.95 for two), that's exactly what you'd do. They're kind of fun, but a little bit tacky. What do you think? Would these find their way into your cabinets?

Do you remember The Ronco bottle & glass cutter...I know I'm showing my age...anyway this totally reminds me of this! Very unique. I probably wouldn't buy them but if someone gave them to me I'd use them!

I think this is fabulous!! What a great conversation starter! Dont lie, if you were at a party and you saw someone drinking a beer out of an upside down beer bottle, you would totally say something.

I see these at an outdoor party/picnic...or bar. The Grolsh would be better with a different bottom. Definitely restaurant/bar novelty item! And younger male appeal!

We had some of the Sol ones as a wedding gift - You forgot to mention they're made from recycled beer bottles, making them very eco friendy - and they are very nice to drink out of.

When we were in undergrad, my friend took a glass cutter and made a bunch of Corona bottles into drinking classes. They looked cool because they were not over the top, I think.

The grolsch looks better than the sol glass, to me. But they are both kind of ugly. They are too expensive for just a gag gift and I can't imagine using them seriously.
