Beer Can Wrap: Love It or Hate It?

Want to get drunk in public? Or perhaps you want to hide the fact that you're drinking diet soda? If you're interested in doing either of those things then check out these Beer Can Wraps ($5.89 for 4). These vinyl wraps go around cans so you can hide whatever it is you're drinking. I live in a neighborhood rife with professors and graduate students - needless to say, there's a lot of drinking going on here. These are funny, to me, but I'll go with the paper bag when I'm enjoying some wine in the park over something else I have to buy.

I think it's kinda cool in the right situtation, like I was thinking that these would be good for on the boat, where you aren't supossed to walk down the dock with an open drink.

its smart and dumb at the same time. what if you put that on ur beer and put ur beer down to go to the bathroom and a little kid, thinking its actually pepsi cuz of the colors on the can, drinks it? then what?

I thought these were very cool until I realized that they didn't actually say the drinks names. I wish they said Pepsi and Mountain Dew instead of the joke names.

Well, insofar as subterfuge goes, it IS a good idea. But if you have to hide what you're drinking then you probably shouldn't be doing it.

Francoisehardly is right...and maybe even the possiblity of making underage drinking a little easier...because at first glance...the writing looks like "Pepsi or Mountian Dew"...I don't think these are a good idea at all.

I could have really used these back in college when I lived in the dorms! Too often people would get written up for drinking and we had had these we could have fooled everyone! Haha!
