"Mikkeller does it again with another strong but incredibly well-balanced beer. This beer holds true to its name with its 1000 IBUs, or International Bitterness Units, a measurement for the amount of bitterness added to the beer from the addition of hops.

"The average light lager contains about 5 IBUs, so be prepared for this first sip; your mouth will nearly explode with hops. There are generous citrus and pine notes, which are balanced by plenty of malt.
