Let's Dish: What's Your Favorite Chocolate Bar?

Perhaps it's because Halloween isn't too far off, but right now my desk is overflowing with chocolate bars — everything from classic dark to salt and pepper chocolate. Although my savory tendencies usually overtake my sweet tooth, I will admit to loving a good bar of Scharffen Berger Extra Dark Chocolate, or another favorite, Taza's stone-ground Mexican discs. What's your top choice when it comes to chocolate bars?

I recently fell in love with Theo's dark chocolate with almond and sea salt at their store in Seattle. They let you taste just about everything and they're all so delicious. There's a crazy one with curry even! But, the dark chocolate w/ sea salt and almonds really stuck out to me. Perfect for a little treat.

Endangered Species Chocolate, the sea turtle bar in particular. It's 72% dark chocolate with dried blueberries inside. It's delightful.

Yes, cornflakes and chocolate. This is a miraculous combination that even works outside of a Ritter Sport bar: Take slivered almonds, cornflakes and melted chocolate, mix together, then drop in little piles (haystacks?) and let cool. SO GOOOOOOOD! I swear, I'd rather get this than premium truffle chocolates :)

Lizzie, I just discovered Chocolove while in Boulder. I love that there's a poem inside each candy bar!

My vote goes to Chocolove XOXO Raspberries in Dark Chocolate Bar. It's a simple combination, but completely amazing.

Keeping it local, I have to go with B.T. McElrath. Currently, their Prairie Dog Bar (40% milkl chocolate with butter toffee pieces, toasted almonds and sea salt), and their Passion Fruit and Tangerine Bar (dark and white chocolates infused with passion fruit and tangerine).
