Let's Dish: What's Your Favorite Kind of Tea?

I'm a huge tea drinker. I would choose tea over coffee any day. In fact, I drink all kinds of tea throughout the day. I start my morning off with a cup of green tea, have some kind of green or herbal tea in the afternoon, then close my night off with a nice cup of mint tea. But there are so many delicious brands and varieties of tea out there that I'd like to try out. So I'm asking you, what is your very favorite tea to drink?

Oh, so many. I like green tea throughout my day. Jasmine green, tropical green, straight green, toasted rice green... Not a big fan of black tea. At night, though, about an hour before bed, I put on my kettle and settle down with a big mug of Better Rest tea by Two Leaves & a Bud. I've skipped it the last two nights--it was just too much indulgence with my little girl demanding my attention--but no more. Those were the worst two nights I've had in a long time. Took forever to fall asleep, impossible to stay asleep. Looking forward to my Better Rest tea tonight! My favorite brands are Harney & Sons, Stash, Two Leaves & a Bud, and T. (out of Chico, Calif.).

Celestial Seasonings Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea is fantastic, but, unfortunately, it's a seasonal item. I manage to go through two boxes per winter! For the spring, summer, and fall I prefer green or peppermint tea.

I drink Rooibos & Honeybush (both from South Africa). High in antioxidants without the caffeine! :)

Irish Breakfast is my hands-down favorite. Not picky about the brand. The list of non-black teas that I like is very short. I always buy green tea and herbal "teas" in hopes that I will find something I love, but I never really do. I like white tea now and then and always keep peppermint in the house because it's nice to have when your stomach doesn't agree with something or if you just feel a little "off." My MIL gave me cinnamon tea over Christmas that I also quite like. Other than that, I pretty much just drink black!

For the past six months, I have been obsessed with Pukka's licorice & cinnamon -- so good! I first got it in london at WF and now order it from iherb. I like their triple ginger as well but over the holidays I don't drink anything but Celestial Seasonsings' holiday teas -- sugar cookie sleigh ride, sugar plum spice and gingerbread spice are my favorites!!
