I've always wondered: what is twig tea, anyway? Then I read about kukicha, as it's also known. Guess what? Turns out the tiny branches of the Camellia sinensis plant are pretty darn delicious. Whenever I need to feel restored, I hover over a warm mug of this tea ($5 for 16 tea bags), which smells and tastes reminiscent of toasted, puffed rice.
