With its moldy appearance, pungent smell, and strong flavor, blue cheese is quite a polarizing ingredient. Still, from pizzas to salads, it's a common on many menus. Being a true foodie, I love the rich creaminess of this stinky cheese. How about you?

Just Cavalli
LOVE it. Cook with it when I can. Enjoy it raw any other time.
I love it. I put on anything I can. I love it crumbled on tuna steaks with avocado. So yummy!
fav thing to eat on a summer day: sliced tomatoes, bacon bits, garlic croutons smothered in blue cheese dressing.
preferably marzetti's dressing.
I love it now; as a kid I wouldn't go NEAR the stuff. It took one salad with Roquefort to turn me around! My boyfriend, on the other hand, HATES it.
Hate hate hate hate....Ugh. I could NEVER stand that stuff. My husband loves it though.
UGH i hate it!!!! bf loves it. i accidentally dipped buffalo wings in blue cheese thinking it was ranch, and i literally almost puked. can't stand the stuff!
but i'm also not a fan of stinky cheese - there are only a few types of cheese i like.
Love it! Its prefect for anything, its my favorite thing for burgers or sometimes just to eat alone. YUM!
LOVE!!! Brush a salmon steak with olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground pepper, fresh dill, and good blue cheese crumbles. Bake, and finish with fresh lemon juice.
Yummers! It's the bomb. Simple snack: plain crackers, loganberry jam and a dollop of bleu cheese - amazing!
yuuuck
its great but that thats what it looks like in the picture!
Ugh, NASTY!! I can't stand the stuff...it reeks and it tastes like salty vomit. I have a weird thing about mold...it freaks me out for some reason. I can't stand to see any food be moldy; let alone any food that you'd still eat. My husband really loves blue cheese though...he loves this blue cheese sauce I make for steak. I make it, but it makes my kitchen smell like sweat socks for a few days.
I like it in certain foods but not always.
I love it & used to eat a lot of it but later found out that not only am I sensative to molds, but have to watch my dairy, too. So, now it's just a REAL treat once in awhile!
love it, over a toast with butter!
Not only do I LOVE it but I am a connoisseur -- and the VERY BEST BLUE CHEESE is definitely
POINT REYES ORIGINAL BLUE, made on the farm near San Francisco. This stuff is heaven -
UGH... disgusting! no thanks!
I like it, but it's not my favorite type of cheese. It's a little intense.
The picture alone is making me nauseous.
I love cheese but if the one cheese I the most that would be blue cheese.
Blue cheese actually comes in quite a range of flavors and textures, so you can find some less pungent. Roquefort cheese though definitely bites back. Try it in this
I never used to be a fan but I recently made a gnocchi cheese gratin type thing and used blue cheese...it was delicious, albeit a little smelly.
I like it, but that picture is terrible.
i'm not the biggest fan of blue cheese. sometimes with a salad that has cranberries it's a good thing but otherwise i'll stay away from it.
i don't like blue cheese dressing, but i LOVE the crumbles in my salads. Paradise Bakery makes the yummiest salad-romaine, craisins, blue cheese crumbles, and ceaser dressing. now i make my own!
I've never tasted it cos I really can't stand the smell.
I've tried different kinds of blue cheese and I gotta say...not for me. Gorgonzola is the only one that is not terrible, but not great either. They all taste inky and waaaaaay too pungent.
not for me...
i love strong cheese (so i like most blue cheese) but i once tried roquefort, just one bite, and for the next day or so i would almost throw up just reminiscing about its taste.
I tried it at a really nice restaurant, the Addison, for the first time. I tried to be open to it, I really did. It was a Stilton cheese; maybe others are better? To me, it tasted like tires. The taste was so STRONG and so industrial!!! Let's not even go into the texture or the smell! Are there other varieties of blue cheese that are easier on beginners?
