As Bravo's Top Chef Las Vegas reaches the halfway mark, the network continues to expand its Top Chef empire. First it released plans to shoot Top Chef 7, and now the network has announced that it's bringing back Top Chef Masters for a sophomore season.
The second season of Masters, which was the highest-rated first season competition series in Bravo history, will see the return of Gael Greene, James Oseland, and Jay Rayner as critics, as well as bubbly (and slightly bubbleheaded) host Kelly Choi. This time, however, Top Chef veteran judge Gail Simmons will also have a place at the Critics' Table.
Now for the fun part. Guessing who will star on the show next. Any takers? Here are my guesses: While it sounds like Ming Tsai probably won't be a contender, what about Marcus Samuelsson, Tom Douglas, Kent Rathbun, and Charlie Palmer?

YAY!!! I love that show. Even though it was a competition, they were so laid back and having fun with it, and they were so gracious to one another.
1i really didn't like kelly choi. wish they could have brought a host to the table that has a little more experience discussing food...or at least one that looks like they eat it.
2I also think they should replace Kelly Choi, and I missed the regular TC judges on Masters, so yay for Gail coming on! As for contestants, I'm betting we'll see more people who have guested on Top Chef, like Eric Ripert (I hope!).
3I'd like to see the super hot chef who stood his bride up at the wedding but only because she was abusive and tore up their pre-nup. Todd English!
And Kerry Simon would be awesome
4oh, and Chris Cosentino. But I think he sold his soul to the Food Network. But Tyler Florence was a guest judge, so anything is possible. John Besh was on Next Iron Chef, but also Top Chef Masters, so anything is possible
5I would love to see Anthony Bourdain.
6I would love it if eric ripert came on!
7I would like to see Govind Armstrong and G. Garvin(not too many people know of him).
